For many of you, that’s all you need to know. Android Developer, here you come.

There are currently 1.4 billion active Android Devices from the world, and Android overlooks the smartphone marketplace with 82 percent worldwide market share. If you are an aspiring Android Developer, this is opportunity knocking.

However, some of you may need more persuasive when it comes to considering a career in Android Development. So let us look at some key labor data and business reports:

A current article in InformationWeek projected salary increases of nearly 9 percent for Mobile App Developers at 2016.

Business Insider included the position in its own 19 hottest tasks for 2016 record.

A current article in Inc. noted that a somewhat astonishing 83,649 more Program Developer jobs published than people hired, so qualifying Program Developer as #2 to their own"10 Hottest Jobs at 2016" list.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics continues to job incredible growth for its App Developer job marketplace, with quotes running above 20 percent during the following five years.

Pretty impressive, right? Let us be fair though--we already printed these numbers earlier this year. Can you dip then? If you did, then fantastic move. But if you did not, then you still need convincing.

Scholarships

What if we told you that the makers of Android are now prepared to PAY for sure aspiring learners to become Android Developers? You would jump at that chance, right? Well, it is happening. In partnership with Google, we just established the brand new Android Basics Nanodegree from Google, which means the entire route to a in-demand career within an Android Developer is currently wide open for you, if you are just starting to program, or already building programs. And thanks to Google, that the first 50 pupils to finish the Android Basics Nanodegree app will receive full scholarships to register in our innovative, career-track Android Developer Nanodegree app !

Social Good

These are amazing numbers, and also what it means is that if you are developing for Android, you have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the world in a really international level. And we know that is exactly what people want to perform! Allow me to give you an example. Leading up to the launching of Android Basics, we offered a preregistration alternative. We asked them what prompted them, along with the responses were so incredible. Among those responses is that the example I want to share with you--but that I can not actually share it with you! Because the person who responded described their idea for a program they're expecting to construct, and that I don't wish to give her thought away. However, if she succeeds, it is going to be unbelievable. She is in the healthcare area. Her program has to perform blood borne pathogen exposures. It certainly qualifies as"social good"

Salary

We don't always need to acknowledge how important the cash is, but let us be fair. The money is really important. According to a recent analysis by The Society For Human Resource Management(SHRM),"the top three drivers of job satisfaction mentioned were respectful treatment of workers at all levels, compensation/pay and benefits." So how can Android Developers fare? We already showed you those labor numbers and business reports above. And those numbers sure looked great! But let us be somewhat more special, and turn to our spouses in PAYSA for some comprehensive information. If you go to some Nanodegree overview page, then you will see a PAYSA module using some high-level info. For example, let us visit our newest Android Basics webpage . What do people see? That's great! If you would like to dig deeper, then click on the PAYSA module, and you will get information about everything from functions and expertise to bonuses and equity. (Average yearly bonus? $15k.

Visibility

I imagine you are familiar with that renowned philosophical thought experiment about sound and trees:"When a tree falls in a forest and nobody is around to hear itdoes it make a noise?" Personally, I feel that the answer is... well, anyhow, the point is that in case an Android Program is not at the Google Play store, nobody will utilize it. However, getting your new program INTO the Google Play store must be near impossible right? You can only imagine the price. But actually, it is not expensive in any way.

Sweets

If you know anything about Android, then you probably know that every new operating system is code-named after a candy treat. This is the listing wont o date:

  • Cupcake
  • Donut
  • Eclair
  • Froyo
  • Gingerbread
  • Honeycomb
  • Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Jelly Bean
  • KitKat
  • Lollipop
  • Marshmallow

Why is this important to know? Because we are at N! Which means, on your new function as an Android Developer, you could be working on... Nutella! Or Nougat! Or Nutter Butter!
