Gone are the days when parents were the ultimate decision holder in choosing a wedding photographer for their beloved daughter or son. Even the trend of Indian Weddings is changing from traditional one-day photography of the bride, groom & their relatives to the section-wise photography capturing every occasion & part of the romance between a bride & groom to make them even memorable!
The couples, today, have grown relationship conscious and that is why they now have pre-wedding relationship goals set for them.
A pre-wedding photoshoot strives to paint a picture of the budding love between the two and get it framed for life! Well, inspired with the same, I am penning down my pre-wedding shoot held on 2nd Feb 2019 at a very beautiful place- Rishikesh!
Alok & I know each other from the last five years. It was certainly a dream come true when we got engaged with the permission of our parents. I am generally very conscious about my things & try managing the things as perfect as I can. Right from arranging my engagement at Hotel JSR, Dehradun to shopping up for my wedding jewelry & apparels, I am so much particular giving every attention to detail. This was the time for choosing out the best wedding photographer for my special day & I just cannot afford to take a wrong decision here.
We were going to be married soon & I started tensing out for a perfect photographer to shoot our things up. From a plethora of wedding photographers in Dehradun, I chose SG Movies, owned by Vicky Bharadwaj & Team. Vicky's reference was given by one of my relative who was well aware of his excellent work.
Every photographer has a unique style of doing things & so it was with Vicky & team. I still remember how tensed I was for our pre-wedding shoot. I do have a long discussion during my office breaks with Vicky. I was just so confused about the location, dresses selection & suitable props needed. Every time Vicky used to say, “Don’t take tension Rashmi Ji, sab ho jayega.” And I was like, "Did I take a good decision choosing him, who don’t care even when the date is so near.??
Well, my assumption was totally wrong. The day finally came. Vicky & his team were so motivated & full of passion that I doubted about our excitement at that time. Out of many beautiful and interactive places in and around my own city Dehradun, we finalized Shivpuri, Rishikesh.
Rishikesh is a wonderful option for any type of shoots. Here, you can enjoy the good weather and the romantic setup before the wedding. No hassle of permissions or bookings. Shivpuri, that we selected, was approx 22 Kms away from Rishikesh. The place is popularly called Goa Beach, as it has a beach like Goa with the river flowing around & a sandy bed. People come here for night outs, bone fires, sun baths & for shoots like us. The place has small eateries that serve tea & Maggie. Garment change huts were there so you don't have to look around for a hotel.
Our shoot went well. Vicky was accompanied by one of his team members. They made us so much comfortable, kept on conversing with us trying to understand our equation. They tried to treat our photo shoot session more like a picnic, where friends are hanging out.
As per Vicky, " This is an era of candid photography where the pictures are taken like each one is narrating a story. Photography today is more than just a normal camera coverage."
I still don't remember how many re-takes & poses Vicky made us try. At a point, we got exhausted but Vicky was still full of energy. Well, the hard work paid off & we got the splendid results. SG movies were able to portray the best chemistry with the love of my life.
We just had a good time at the shoot. I must appreciate the efforts SG movies photographers have put up for capturing some loving moments for us. Let these photographs speak about the talent of SG Movies featuring Vicky & his team.
