This is what Director Anita Udeep's crux of 90 ML is, if Oviya playing the lead girl gained enthusiasm for the script, it gained more attention from the trailers and sneak peek. An adult-contented 'A' rated picture, the picture is partially enjoyable though emotional suspense is sorely lacking.

The film opens with Rita, who lives life on her own terms before moving with her live-in husband into an apartment. She has friends who share the apartment with Kajal, Paaru, Sukanya, and Thamarai. The girls soon cozy up to Rita, and they open up about their dating issues after a drinking session.

The director only takes the first half to create the various characters by way of plot, without anything. It's packed with scenes of crass interactions, smoking, drinking and smooching. The interval block has a twist. So it is worth lauding Alagiya Azhura for treating the lesbian relationship with dignity.

In short, It talks about feminism, women empowerment, and how ladies should liberate themselves from suppressive views on love, marriage, and sex. A woman creates a near personal relationship with four other women living in her house.
