Dev starts as an adventure film but soon fizzles out with the focus moving on to a love tale. It's dull with cliched problems and generic characters. As Dev and Meghana meet for the first time, we can quickly guess where this is headed. The dull, unexciting tale of love drawn out for two and a half hours without suspense and excitation.

Due to poor VFX and unimaginative course, even the Himalayan trek in the climax doesn't participate. The ending without sufficient suspense or an emotional high is also very low. Dev is a movie that will bore you from the beginning to the end and is universally hated for its meaningless plot and direction. It couldn't even save the star cast from ending up as a dud.
