The timeframe of Watchman is very short (24 hours), as well as its running time is just 95 minutes, but Director Vijay has managed to pack a lot in this period. The hero Bala (GV Prakash) finds himself in deep waters when a loan shark fails to pay him. He is deeply desperately in love with a girl, as his parents visit him and set a date for the engagement. How he manages all these things in only 95 minutes movie, it is impressive.

When you take Bruno out of practice, there is hardly anything worth thinking about in the movie. Most of the story unfolds in a single night, and moments between Prakash, Suman, and the terrorists lack the tension that usually raises such invasion thrillers. Despite their serious performances, Prakash and Suman really can't save this film from switching out to be a damp squib.
