Radha Bhatt, a versatile actor known for her roles in popular web series like The Family Man-1 and Sunflower, believes that only a fortunate few can truly pursue and fulfill their passions when burdened with responsibilities.

In her early days, Radha shares, “At the age of 17, I lost my father. With my mother being a homemaker, I knew I had to find a job immediately after college. So, I took up a corporate job while simultaneously pursuing my master’s degree and a professional course. Thankfully, amidst work and studies, I found some time to join theater and follow my passion for acting. After a long day’s work, I would rush to the stage to live my dream,” reveals the Zindagi Ki Mehak actor.

“After clearing the NET exam, I secured a job as an assistant professor in Delhi, which allowed me ample time to pursue theater and advertisement projects. This eventually led to my first television opportunity with the show Agar Tum Saath Ho, where I played a parallel lead, and from there, more work came my way,” she adds.

Radha gracefully manages her projects between Delhi and Mumbai and prefers this arrangement. She says, “I find this setup to be ideal as work opportunities arise from both cities, enabling me to do more. Besides, my family is based in Delhi, making it a perfect fit for me. Due to the pandemic, a couple of film projects in Mumbai are on hold. However, we are about to commence shooting for the second season of HT Friday Final in Delhi next month, following the success of the first season.”

Discussing her recent release, the OTT series Sunflower, which has received positive reviews, Radha expresses her delight, saying, “My character has received an overwhelming response. When I initially joined the show, I had no idea about the depth of my character. But my faith in the script paid off. Mrs. Ahuja, my character, has genuinely won the hearts of the audience.”

Born in a small village near Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand, Radha cherishes the moments when she can return to her ancestral house there. She shares, “Visiting my relatives and revisiting those places feels like a vacation for me and my family. It’s a precious opportunity for a big family get-together as well as a refreshing break for me and my brothers.”

There’s more to her story than meets the eye! In addition to her acting prowess, Radha also runs a delightful café Puff Brew Chew , blending her love for the arts with her entrepreneurial spirit.
